Tales of Two Cities
Published by Ethos Books

I was tasked to propose and design a book cover for Tales of Two Cities. These authors are attempting to find “home” in foreign lands. They are re-defining and defying traditional concepts of home. As such, a wayfinding concept helps anchor the 23 stories.

A contrasting colour palette is used to reinforce its shelve presence. Red—a colour that Singapore and Hong Kong have claimed as their own subtly reflects on the two countries. Wayfinding symbols are reinforced at the front and back covers to tie the whole concept altogether.

The back features coordinates of the two countries to show the union between the two groups.

If you're interested to find out more/to purchase the book, you can head over here. Tales of Two Cities is also available for purchase at Kinokuniya.
